The Best Fit Sheepskin Footmuff for your Joolz Aer & Aer +
Renowned for its compact and lightweight design, and easy fold the Joolz Aer is a top pick for parents today. We have a range of footmuff options for the Joolz Aer which are equally as compact and offer a sumptuous layer of sheepskin to keep the pram cosy all year round
Our top footmuff options for your Joolz Aer pram: Fellhof Classic Footmuff Baa Baby Sheepskin Footmuff, and the Kasier Natura
The Fellhof Classic Footmuff is a great footmuff for the Joolz Aer. From our premium supplier in Austria, Fellhof, who are renowned for their silky soft sheepskin that is super soft to the touch. The footmuff is fully lined and features wooden toggles to fold back the top of the footmuff
The classic version features the facility to remove the top of the footmuff to leave a separate pram liner and is secured with the harness and hooked over the back of the seat. The classic is available in black with a warm honey shade of merino sheepskin and is a super fit for this pram
Next up is the Baa Baby Original offering a more compact design which fits neatly into the frame. Fully lined with luxurious merino sheepskin in a soft milk shade the Baa Baby footmuff also converts to a pram liner in the warmer months.
We find the original a really good fit in the Joolz Aer, with the bottom of the footmuff sitting comfortably without any overhang.
The Kaiser Natura footmuff is from our German suppliers. It is a compact universal footmuff that works well with smaller prams. The top will zip off to leave a pram liner ready for the summer months
Kaiser lambskin tends to have a more traditional woolly feel and the shade is a darker and deeper honey tone. The footmuff is also a little more rigid in feel than the Fellhof, with a thicker outer and curly dense sheepskin. We have the Natura in both dark grey and black.
Does the Baa Baby Luxe fit the Joolz Aer ?
In terms of fitting the harness, the Luxe does however we don't consider it the best fit for the Joolz Aer.
As this is a larger footmuff and also has the addition of 'seat shaping' it doesn't work as well in the narrow seat and we think that top looks a little bulky and the bottom has more overhang than we usually recommend.
If your Joolz Aer is a second pram and you have a larger pram for day to day use, this is less important but we feel there are better fits out there for your pram if you use the Aer every day.
We know there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to your child and your pram so we are delighted to offer you the choice of three different footmuffs and show you just how they look in the pram so you can make an informed decision before you purchase. Our footmuffs are suitable up to 3 years, however this will always be dependent upon the size of your child is the largest. Our Baa Baby Luxe is the largest size we offer. It also has the benefit of a double zip opening at the bottom for muddy feet and longer legs to poke out. Ultimately you will also need to ensure that your pram is big enough to accommodate a larger footmuff as they are longer in length.
