How to fit your Footmuff and convert it to a Pram Liner

The Baa Baby Original Footmuff is Compatible with both 5 and 3 fixed point harness prams (eg. Uppababy V2, Cybex) . This is due to the vertical harness openings that you can see in this guide

Step 1

Give your footmuff a good shake and turn it over so that the openings of the footmuff are clear. The top 'flap' is optional to hook over the seat (if your pram allows this) but the most important part are the velcro slots which need opening up

Step 2

Hold the top of the footmuff and pass the whole harness through the vertical openings.

Step 3

Locate the pram strap which sits between your babys legs and pull through the centre opening

Step 4

Connect the waist band and clip in your baby and you are good to go ! We have shown this part of the fitting with the top of the footmuff removed so that you are able to clearly see the harness fittings in the pram

Step 5

For the warmer months in autumn, spring and summer then simply zip off the top of the footmuff to leave a pram liner for your baby to enjoy without the additional of the top layer. All of the footmuffs featured on our website offer this facility to convert your footmuff into a pram liner

FAQ

The harness straps in the correct place should prevent slippage in your pram. All our footmuffs also have the addition of a flap over the top of the footmuff to hook over the pram seat which will prevent slippage. If you choose our luxe footmuff (only for larger prams) the seat shaping that is sewn into the footmuff will hug the frame really well and stop any slippage

Yes all the footmuffs featured on our website are showerproof and windproof. The Baa Baby range of footmuffs uses eco friendly waterproofing which is fluorine free. You can read more about Bionic Eco here

Sheepskin is naturally dirt and bacterial resistant and should only need an occasional shake, airing and brushing. Spot cleaning with a lanolin based shampoo should take care of any stains that you find difficult to remove with brushing. If you need to fully wash your sheepskin footmuff then make sure you use a specialist shampoo and the lowest heat possible. Always dry sheepskin away from heat as this can shrink the leather

At Baa Baby we know there isn't a one size fits all for your pram so we offer a range of sizes and styles. Our chat function has a pram footmuff selector and we can offer specialist advice for any pram, or combinations of prams - simply jump on our chat or email baa@baababy.co.uk

All of the footmuffs featured on our website are OEKO-TEX certified as baby safe and are premium quality. The brands do however differ in terms of the look and feel of the sheepskin. Kaiser has a traditional woolly feel to their sheepskin and is a deep honey tone. Fellhof has a paler honey tone and is silky soft to the touch. Baa Baby sheepskin is a paler milk (rather than honey) tone and offer our footmuffs with vertical harness openings to fit fixed 3 point and 5 point harnesses alike.
