The Best Fit Sheepskin Footmuff for your Silver Cross
As one of the most loved and trusted pram brands, Silver Cross have a wide range of prams and travel systems to choose from.
Most of the prams and travel systems all use the same seat size and have a standard harness fitting so our recommendations work for the Silvercross Wayfarer, Pioner,Reef, Wave and Dune and Coast
Here at Baa Baby we have four recommendations - the Baa Baby Original and the Baa Baby Luxe, both in oxford black with sumptuous milk lambskin and both the Kaiser Natura and Fellhof Classic which both have honey lambskin
Our first pick for the Silver Cross is the Kaiser Natura. This footmuff is fully lined with OEKO-TEX sheepskin. Kaiser is a German brand and the sheepskin is renowned for being a traditional 'woolly' type sheepskin with deep rich tones. The footmuff comes in both anthracite grey and black and the top zips off to leave a pram liner for the warmer months. Suitable for 0 - 2.5 years the Natura offers a compact fit with a snuggly wool layer.
Next up is the Baa Baby original footmuff again offering a more compact design which fits neatly into the frame. Fully lined with luxurious merino sheepskin the Baa Baby footmuff has much paler and silkier sheepskin than the Natura. We find the original a really greatt fit in the Silver Cross.with the bottom of the footmuff sitting comfortably without any overhang. The top of the Baa Baby original footmuff zips off to leave a pram liner for the warmer months so no need to buy an additional liner for the spring and summer.
If it is a Fellhof sheepskin footmuff that you are looking for, we recommend the Fellhof Classic (also known as the Garmisch) design for the Silver Cross. A smaller fit with silky soft lambskin this footmuff is compact enough to work well in all of the different frames. The lambskin is a warmer honey colour and darker than the Baa Baby footmuff above, but not as deep as the Kaiser brand. The top zips off to leave a pram liner in the summer months allowing the footmuff to be used all year round.
The Luxe is a larger fit although it might not look so at first glance. Unique to the Luxe is an additional zip opening at the bottom of the seat. This will allow you to open up just the bottom of the footmuff for longer legs or muddy boots to pop out at the bottom.
As this is a larger footmuff we have added ‘seat shaping’ to the footmuff. Unlike other designs the Luxe has a sewn in seat/bottom area for your child. This helps ensure the footmuff does not slip due to its additional length and therefore it doesn't look too much bigger than the othe footmuffs but will last longer
We know there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to your child and your pram so we are delighted to offer you the choice of four different footmuffs and show you just how they look in the pram so you can make an informed decision before you purchase. If you have any other queries please don't hesitate to reach out through chat or email baa@baababy.co.uk

With all our footmuffs here at Baa Baby there is the option to take off the top cover to leave a pram liner. This can be achieved easily by zipping off the top cover and storing it throughout the warmer seasons. This leaves the bottom layer of sheepskin which is secured in the pram seat by the harness straps.

Yes they are - though we find that most parents won't need to wash them. Sheepskin is very forgiving and naturally dirt repellant. For any stains and spills simply leave them to dry and brush out with a wire brush. A good airing, shake and brush is usually all that your footmuff will need but if you do need to wash your footmuff then detailed instructions can be found here
Yes they are ! - with mother nature and your baby’s safety in mind our footmuff is both waterproof and windproof using BIONIC-FINISH® ECO rather than harsh chemicals traditionally used.
Our footmuffs are suitable up to 3 years, however this will always be dependent upon the size of your child is the largest. Our Baa Baby Luxe is the largest size we offer. It also has the benefit of a double zip opening at the bottom for muddy feet and longer legs to poke out. Ultimately you will also need to ensure that your pram is big enough to accommodate a larger footmuff as they are longer in length.
